1. Who we are
PuntSport is a trading name of Winners Bookmaking Pty Ltd (ABN 35 652 847 875 · ACN 652 847 875), a licensed corporate bookmaker holding Wagering Licence No. 6421/2022/WB and regulated by Liquor & Gaming NSW under the Betting and Racing Act 1998 (NSW), the Betting and Racing Regulation 2022 (NSW) and related legislation. The decision-making authority is the Independent Liquor & Gaming Authority (ILGA), and the controlling body for racing is Racing NSW. All wagering contracts are formed with Winners Bookmaking Pty Ltd in New South Wales, Australia. Our products are wagering on racing (thoroughbred, harness and greyhound) and fixed-odds wagering on sport on a pre-match basis only; we do not offer online casino, slots, poker or online in-play sports betting.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, hold an account in your own legal name, and be physically located in Australia in a jurisdiction where online wagering with an Australian-licensed operator is lawful. We verify your identity and age under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) and the National Consumer Protection Framework before you place your first bet, and may request documents at any time. You confirm that you are not currently registered with BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register. If you are, we cannot open or operate an account for you.
3. Your account
One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately at support@puntsport.co if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend an account to investigate suspected fraud, collusion, multiple accounts, or breaches of these Terms.
3A. Suspension, closure and termination
You can close your account at any time from your account settings or by emailing support@puntsport.co; see Account Closure & Withdrawals. We may suspend, restrict or terminate an account — including to comply with the law, manage risk, protect integrity, act on signs of gambling harm, or where you breach these Terms. On closure we settle any open bets, complete identity and source-of-funds checks, and pay your withdrawable balance to a verified payment method in your own name. Closure does not affect rights or obligations that arose beforehand.
4. Deposits & withdrawals
We accept debit cards, PayID and bank transfer only — credit cards are not accepted for gambling, consistent with the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Act 2023 (Cth). The minimum deposit and withdrawal is $10. Withdrawals are paid only to a verified payment method in your own name. We charge no fees for deposits or withdrawals. Once your identity is verified, withdrawals are processed within 1 business day; your bank may take a further 1–3 business days. We do not operate as a bank and pay no interest on balances.
5. Bets & pricing
A bet is accepted only when it appears in your settled bet history with a confirmation. We may decline or limit any bet at our discretion before acceptance. Odds are expressed as decimals: your potential return is your stake multiplied by the odds (e.g. $10 at 2.50 returns $25, including your stake). Prices can change at any time until a bet is accepted. Online in-play bets on non-racing sport cannot be placed, as required by the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 (Cth); sports markets are offered pre-match only.
6. Settlement
Markets settle on the official result of the relevant governing body. Where a result is amended after official declaration, the bet stands on the result at the time of settlement. Full market rules are in our Betting Rules.
6A. Void bets and palpable errors
A bet may be declared void and stakes returned where: the event is postponed or abandoned and not completed within 48 hours (unless a market rule states otherwise); there is a palpable error in pricing, entry or market construction; a participant is a non-runner in a racing market (rule 4 deductions may apply); or there is a manifest breach of integrity such as suspicious betting patterns or match-fixing. Once placed, an accepted bet cannot be cancelled or edited by you — please check your slip before confirming.
6B. Multis and Same Game Multi
In a standard multi (parlay), if any leg is void, the multi recalculates as if that leg was not selected. In a Same Game Multi, related contingencies may be restricted and a voided leg re-prices the whole multi. Maximum permitted legs and combinations are shown when you build the bet.
6C. Maximum payout
The maximum payout per customer, per day, across all markets is capped at AUD 500,000. Where a bet would return more, the payout is limited to this amount.
7. Responsible gambling
We are committed to safer gambling. You can set deposit limits, take a deposit break, or self-exclude at any time. See Responsible Gambling and the national BetStop register. 7A. Anti-money laundering & financial crime
We comply fully with the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth). We refuse service and do not accept funds that are the proceeds of crime; from individuals or entities on terrorism or sanctions lists (AUSTRAC, UN, USA, EU, Australia); or via “structured” deposits designed to avoid detection. We verify source of funds, screen accounts against sanctions databases, monitor transactions, block and close accounts where violations are detected, and report suspicions to AUSTRAC. See our AML/CTF, KYC & Source of Funds page. If you suspect money laundering or the financing of crime, contact support@puntsport.co immediately.
7B. Prohibited conduct & anti-fraud
You must not: provide false information or use another person's identity; open or use more than one account; use bots, automated tools or exploit pricing or system errors; collude, fix or attempt to manipulate events; or arbitrage against our pricing in bad faith. Where we detect fraud, collusion, multiple accounts, money laundering or other abuse, we may suspend or close your account, freeze your balance, void affected bets, withhold winnings derived from the conduct, and report the matter to the relevant authorities (including Liquor & Gaming NSW, Racing NSW, Sport Integrity Australia, AUSTRAC and law enforcement).
7C. Your data and privacy
We collect, use and disclose your personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By using your account you acknowledge that policy, including how we verify identity, meet AML/CTF obligations and handle your information.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Winners Bookmaking Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8A. No guarantees
We do not guarantee any particular outcome, return or win. Past results, form, statistics and any information we display are for general interest only and are not advice or a prediction. Gambling involves risk and you may lose more than you win.
8B. Refusal and limits
We may refuse, suspend or limit any bet, account or market at our discretion, including to manage risk, comply with the law, protect integrity, or in response to signs of gambling harm.
8C. Tax
For most Australian residents, recreational betting winnings are not subject to income tax (this is general information, not tax advice). As the operator, Winners Bookmaking Pty Ltd pays applicable taxes and levies, including the NSW Point of Consumption Tax and Racing NSW race-field fees. You are responsible for any tax that applies to your winnings under the laws of your place of residence. We do not provide tax advice.
8D. Bonuses and promotions
PuntSport does not offer sign-up bonuses, bonus bets, deposit matches, refer-a-friend rewards or other inducements to open an account or to keep betting, consistent with the Betting and Racing Act 1998 (NSW) and the National Consumer Protection Framework. If we ever make a genuine promotion or product offer available, it will be governed by published Promotional Terms setting out who is eligible, any time limits, conditions and (where relevant) any play-through or wagering conditions, before you take part. Promotions are not available to self-excluded customers or to anyone registered with BetStop. We may withhold, withdraw, vary or reclaim any promotional benefit, and void associated bets, where there is an error, fraud, collusion, multiple accounts or other abuse, or where required by law. Promotions carry no cash value unless expressly stated.
9. Changes & governing law
We may update these Terms; material changes are notified on puntsport.co. These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia.
9A. Inactivity
If your account is inactive (no bet, deposit, withdrawal or successful login) for 12 months, we may notify you and deal with any remaining balance in accordance with applicable unclaimed-money law.
9B. Severability and entire agreement
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. These Terms, together with our Betting Rules and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Winners Bookmaking Pty Ltd.
9C. Complaints and regulatory escalation
If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@puntsport.co; our full process and time frames are set out on our Complaints & Dispute Resolution page. If you are not satisfied with our final response, you may escalate at no cost to Liquor & Gaming NSW (and, for racing matters, Racing NSW). Privacy complaints can go to the OAIC, and advertising complaints to Ad Standards. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
